We come here every year with our children, infant through five. Our favorite parts are riding the wagon pulled by a small tractor out to the field and of course wandering through the trees looking for the perfect apple. Big enough to lose sight of other apple-picking families, yet small enough to walk back to the main area if your done filling your bag before the tractor comes back.
I really want to love MN Harvest. A few years back, the land was being sold off for development and now is apparently back under the family umbrella. Back then, they initiated a parking fee to finance the "other" weekend activities like the corn maze and petting zoo. This year, there were hardly any animals in the barnyard zoo. The playground equipment is in horrible shape. The duck pond was half drained and awful looking (with no ducks to boot.). I dunt know what the parking fee is funding right now but things seem to be on a decline again.
I really love this orchard! Everything is really top notch! Beautiful location, good ciders, yummy treats, fun activities, cute craft shops, exciting tractor rides, and more! The only thing that I don't like, and I hope they'll change, is that you can buy a pre-picked half-peck bag, but cannot buy a you-pick half-peck bag, and a whole peck is just to much for us currently. The restrooms are also not my favorite but they aren't terrible either. This was our second year coming here, and I'm sure we'll be back next fall!
Beautiful orchard!!! Our family had a heart time at the orchard. Shared a yummy lunch, taste tested the apples and picked our own. We'll be back next year.
Great place to bring the kids for fun, picking some of the best apples ever, great food and Apple products for those who don't have the skills or will power to make them for themselves, face painting, horseback riding, a corn maze and sunflower maze for the kids. Great family fun.
