Minnesota Valley Electric Cooperative (MVEC) is a company that it’s services are more like a third world country, the power outage is frequent, when you contact them all they say is to blame Excel energy for the outages. It’s not safe nor reliable electric company. One night I was doing my laundry then the power blackout occurred, in the process when electricity came back my washer machine was damaged and stopped working with clothes inside. It could not open or drain the water, I called them and explained what was going on, but they said they’re not responsible.
